If you’d like to start your own One Book, One Proviso project that’s officially recognized by the One Book Steering Committee — whether it be a book club or a panel discussion — email us your proposal at 1book1proviso@gmail.com.

If we approve your One Book project, we’ll include it in our official One Book calendar and publicize it on our One Book social media platforms. We’ll also help you refine your idea, if necessary.

Criteria 

• Each One Book project proposal must take place between Aug. 30 and Dec. 4.
• Each proposal must be related to Fred Hampton and/or the Black Panthers. The project does not necessarily have to be directly related to Black Against Empire, but we recommend that it engages the book.
